Tuition: $165; plus additional materials fee of $10 paid to instructor at first class

Ages: 13-Adult

Prerequisite: Completion of Beginner Blacksmithing is required for under 18 and strongly encouraged for adults.

Join us for this one-day workshop to learn techniques for hand-forging a set of tongs and blacksmithing knife. People of all ages and genders can excel at blacksmithing. Come prepared to have a lot of fun and leave with your own hand-forged ironwork. 

*Please bring safety glasses, heavy work gloves, and hearing protection. Students enter the Blacksmith studio from the Mill’s entrance at the back of the School of the Arts. There will be a midday break for lunch.
