Plant and Garden Stakes in Fused Glass

PREREQUISITE: Beginning fused glass class, one fused glass open studio, or other fused glass class.
Tuition: $50, plus a $20 materials kit fee includes a pattern; copper tubing; washer; solder; glue; two precut clear glass triangles, aprox.10” long; and fusible scrap glass. Additional glass for the large plant stake, and frit can be purchased in class, or you can bring your own.
Fused glass plant stakes are a lovely addition to a planter, flowerpot or anywhere in the garden. They’re an ever-lasting piece of happy art you can add to your yard, a bouquet of flowers, a potted plant or a gift basket. They make a great gift for any occasion!
Students will create one large plant stake using glass, and copper tubing, and two triangular plant stakes made from clear class.
